Saturday...

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for the west slopes of
the north and central Cascades tonight.


Expect 5 to 10 inches of new snow in the Cascades tonight as a
trough moves through western Washington. Cooler air aloft will
drop the snow level to 2000 feet. Snow showers will likely be
enhanced by the Puget Sound convergence zone later this evening.
A foot of new snow is possible west of Stevens Pass if the
convergence zone sets up and persists.


Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will likely cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
